Collaborative Design
The bottle globe was constructed using more than 4,000 recycled plastic bottles, and displayed in 2009 at Salt Lake City’s annual New Year’s Eve party, “First Night”. This piece acted as both a statement for responsible environmental practice as well as a striking focal point for the new year festivities. Following its appearance in the city on January 1, the bottle globe was installed and displayed at local breweries in both Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah.
